I needed a * lot * of help in the creation of this website, and I've got to give credit where credit is due . . .
This creative enterprise was taken on as a part of my CD 315 class. Thanks to the instructor, Mrs. McComas, who responds to e-mail questions at lightening-speed, and stimulates her students to think "outside of the box" -- while remaining grounded . . .
The fact that I -- one of the most technologically-impaired people on the face of the planet -- can now say, "I have a website" proves you have the ability to teach the un-teachable. : )
"Can I have a little help from my friends?"
Angie Mccune -- Thank you for teaching me how to make a webpage and how to, um, link stuff. Apparently, I am not "technologically inclined." It was such a relief to have an on-call tutor, willing to create order out of my chaos 24/7. You have a knack for making things work; thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Katie Wesley -- Thank you for helping me find pictures, scouring Google to re-find those pictures when I demanded links, and most importantly, not hating me after enduring a study session with me. : )
Sami Thomas -- In regards to this project, thanks for helping me organize and refine my PowerPoint -- yes, now I understand how to transition between slides AND individual things-on-the-slides. And this Golden Girl quote is just for you -- "Thank you for being a friend." We've been friends for twelve years, right? Hey. . . far, far in the future --obviously, I'm going to be Rose. You, Janet, and Sarah can duke it out for the remainder of the cast.
Abby Warner -- I * told * you I would put you in the credits! I'll even dedicate my WordArt and interactive buttons to you. And I wouldn't do that for just anybody!
Thanks to my magnificent peer-reviewers, Angie and Connie, and thanks to Katie, Angie and Connie for allowing me to ramble incessantly on the MOO. You guys are great and I can't wait to see how your sites turned out.
Thank you to all the wonderful people at Ponderosa Elementary School for letting me borrow your books. (I'll give them back, I promise.)
Hey, Crissa. . .sorry for making this class sound terrifying and whining incessantly about homework. Come on, you * know * me, and look what I pulled off. I could NOT have more faith in you. ; )
And for my mom --
Yes, I am forever grateful for the articles you ran off, the information you helped me sort through, and the moral support you provided. You helped me tap into my creative side and rearrange my Rubics-cube poem in a cohesive manner. You've put up with constant exclamations like, "Listen to this; does this sound okay?" for twenty-one years and I appreciate it. (Really.)
You're my life-coach, (minus the salary, of course) ; ) -- and my best friend. I love you!
