I'm a junior at Marshall University in Communications Disorders.  This makes major number 3 for me.  I began my college career in the field of Education, but decided against it after my first semester.  I thought that perhaps Nursing was the field in which I wanted to study.  I received a lot of support from my family in this decision, which was probably a crucial factor regarding how long I stayed in the major as long as I did, 2 years.  It occurred to me, after that time, that nursing wasn't for me either (this is why a high-school guidance counselor comes in handy).  After a lot of debate and research (along with the advice of a long-time friend in the Communication Disorders program at Marshall,( Kelly Adkins ) on the matter, I decided to give Communication Disorders a try.  I believe now that I am where I'm supposed to be.

I have attended Marshall University now for four and a half years.  I'm a big herd football fan as well as an avid boxing fan (one of the founding fathers of the Gullickson hall fight club).  I'm also a cartoonist (a little out of practice though) and used to publish my cartoon, Levels of Mevel, in the Parthenon. I live in Branchland, WV and hope to move to Huntington soon.  I also have a girlfriend, Stephanie Ray, who has been putting up with me for around six years now.
